While I try to keep an open mind to good music in all genres, if you read this blog you’ll probably notice that I lean more toward pop, rock, folk, indie and country. Occasionally I’ll cover electronic music if I’m particularly impressed. I tend to avoid hip-hop, rap and R&B, not because I have anything against them, but because I don’t feel I have enough knowledge of these genres to write about them intelligently, or to give submitting artists the fair review they deserve. Just saying.
