Looks like it’s a big weekend in Denver for electronica and electro-pop, with both Ellie Goulding and Diplo playing sold-out shows here this weekend. If you didn’t get your tickets early (and/or prefer indie folk and rock to electro), you still have some opportunities to catch great live music in Denver this weekend. Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

FRIDAY, FEB. 1

Denver indie-folk act Glowing House is headlining at the Hi-Dive, 7 S. Broadway in Denver. Also appearing are Elin Palmer and Lightlooms. Tickets are $6, available from the Hi-Dive. Service charge may apply. Doors at 8:30 PM; show starts at 9:30. Ages 21+.

Local alt-country act Slim Cessna’s Auto Club are performing at Moe’s Bar B Que, 3295 S. Broadway in Englewood. Opening the show are The Raven and the Writing Desk. Tickets are $15, available from Moe’s. Service charge may apply. Doors at 8:30 PM; show starts at 9:00. This is an all-ages show!

SATURDAY, FEB. 2

For those who love album tributes, local bands Eldren and Petals of Spain will be performing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and The Beatles’ Abbey Road in entirety at The Oriental Theater, 4335 W. 44th Ave. in Denver. Tickets are $12-$20 available through The Oriental Theater. Service charge may apply. Doors at 7:00 PM; show starts at 8:00. This is an all-ages show!

Ft. Collins-based indie folk/rock act You, Me & Apollo will have an EP release show at the Hi-Dive, 7 S. Broadway in Denver. Also appearing are The Whicker and Pine and Josh Dillard. Tickets are $8 advance, $10 day of show, available from the Hi-Dive. Doors at 8:00 PM; show starts at 9:00. Ages 18+.
